Spectacular Edo 18th century 11 headed Bodisatva gilded wood. (Nikkō?) This statue is one part of a couple. Her left hand holds a rosery. . The headpiece is still in very good condition. The lotus staf is not original belonging to the statue but will be provided for free. (nikko should have a red sun on a lotus flower in her hands) The statue and backscreen have some flaws but overal for a Edo piece in reasonable good condition.
Watch out there is a seccond one, looking slightly different. Bought together gives 10% dicount.
