Probably the most beloved figure from the buddhist pantheon; Jiso

In Japan probably the most beloved figure from the buddhist pantheon; Jiso. Saint for died children and miscarriages. He will guide them to Nirvana.
This figure is in every temple and specially on graveyards everywhere. The statues often in stone wear childrens clothes and cute hats as offering.
This home shrine image in polichome wood is missing his halo. Very charming Taisho period.
